In this role you will be responsible for:
Establish best practice category management covering software, hardware, IT services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity-related spend
Managing key suppliers like: Microsoft, SAP, Coupa, etc.
Execute key operational tasks, high level supplier negotiations, purchase approvals, etc.
Drive global category strategic initiatives in line with the digitalization roadmap and company strategic objectives
Collaborate closely with IT Executive management, Finance, Legal, and divisional purchasing teams to deploy policies, harmonize processes, and support global technology initiatives
Relationship/Vendor management for key suppliers
Manage 2 global cost-center IT-buyers, and dotted line relationships with divisional purchasing teams
Follow up and drive performance of the global sourcing pipeline, ensuring delivery of business cases and cost-optimization initiatives across IT purchasing categories globally
Contribute actively to developing indirect purchasing excellence across categories.
If you have/are:
10+ years experience in IT Purchasing and global level Category Management
Strong understanding of IT domains such as software licensing, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, and IT services
Experience to independently drive strategic initiatives together with senior management and various business stakeholders
Experience in developing Indirect Purchasing processes for global organizations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize technical and commercial data into clear, actionable strategies
Experience in managing global teams functionally across a matrix organization
Business degree in Purchasing, or in IT + several years of experience in purchasing
Experience in Project Management and Change Management within global or matrix organizations
Proven ability to lead functional teams and drive change-initiatives independently
Business-fluent in English.
