Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Manage purchasing categories according to assigned categories in purchasing systems at the local level.
Supporting the implementation of global/regional strategies for local needs for all IPU categories.
Conducting supplier searches and conducting local initiatives in accordance with established acceptance thresholds and confirmation with IPU Strategic Buyers/Category Managers.
Performing procurement tasks in accordance with the defined strategy and rules.
Supervision and control of local orders in the Coupa system.
Supervision of contracts, including the creation of new contracts, renegotiation/amendment of existing contracts, renewal of contracts at the local level.
Passing on the current status for the global/divisional CM and supporting strategic buyers in Europe in executing the business plan of the assigned categories at the local level.
Negotiation and preparation of contracts in accordance with AS 306, including NDA. Store agreements in the contract management database.
Managing supplier relationships on behalf of AEU Indirect Purchasing.
Support for the end user and stakeholders in defining goals, requests for proposals, negotiations, SB presentation and catalog introduction, as well as other purchasing operations.
Achieving savings, cost avoidance and payment terms for assigned purchase categories in accordance with the AEU IPU annual goals.
Registration of the savings obtained in the Sievo database in accordance with the Saving Control Manual for IPU.
Support in preparing requisitions and orders.
Supporting Strategic Buyers and CMs to reduce risk, improve quality and reduce costs with local suppliers.
Identifying repeat orders and working with Strategic Buyers to create catalogs for goods and services.
Update data of high-turnover suppliers and strategic data for the organization through
Updates in the supplier profile (data, certificates, etc.).
Optimization of the Supplier Database and assistance in registering new suppliers.
Perform supplier assessments in accordance with the IPU Guideline.
Solving problems and creating savings initiatives according to the needs of the plant.
Conducting regular meetings with the Plant Management to establish requirements and expectations, as well as establishing long-term strategies prior to the Sourcing Board presentation.
Providing internal customers with the results of RFPs before the Sourcing Board presentation.
Use the best available purchasing tools and include data on preferred suppliers, current contracts at the local level, and AEUs.
Acting as an interface between suppliers, internal customers for purchasing processes, new projects and activities.
Provide cost analytics for new and existing purchasing activities and analyze cost reduction activities.
Preparing required reports and updating data on an ongoing basis.
Close cooperation with the AEU IPU Operations Team and IPU Operational Manager Europe and an overview of opportunities for continuous improvement and improvement.
Support for purchasing systems, i.e. Coupa, SRM, eBuy, E2E and others, making sure that short and long text is understandable
Ensuring that at least 2 offers have been taken into account and attached
Performing all additional tasks required by the manager.
If you have/are:
Supplier Management: The ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contract terms, and monitor their performance.
Negotiation: The ability to effectively negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts to obtain the best possible terms for the organization.
Market Analysis: Knowledge of the market, price trends, and competitors to make informed purchasing decisions.
Category management: Ability to manage various purchasing categories, including developing purchasing strategies and achieving category goals
Analytical skills: Ability to conduct business and financial analyses to optimize purchasing processes
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both in dealing with suppliers and internal customers.
Organization and time management: The ability to effectively plan and organize work to meet purchasing goals within the allotted time.
Availability and ability to work at different hours and in different locations
Knowledge of purchasing tools: Ability to use computer programs and purchasing management tools, such as ERP and Coupa systems.
Teamwork: The ability to collaborate with other departments and teams in the organization to achieve common goals.
Higher education, preferred majors: economics, management, logistics, engineering or related
Alternatively, a secondary education in the industry with relevant work experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, logistics or supplier management
Experience in commercial negotiation and contract management
Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools such as P2P systems (Coupa, SRM, others)
English: Spoken and Written Proficiency
