Autoliv's primary goal is to Save More Lives. Autoliv is committed to saving lives and shaping a more sustainable future. As part of our global decarbonization journey, we are strengthening our supply chain sustainability capabilities. We are now looking for a Supply Chain Sustainability Senior Specialist with expertise in non-ferrous materials and a passion for GHG emissions reduction to join our team.
In this position, you will play a key role in driving Autoliv’s global sustainability and supply chain transformation. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, purchasing, sustainability, product development, and global commodity teams to identify, evaluate, and implement projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions across our supply chain—particularly within non-ferrous material categories (e.g., aluminum, zinc, magnesium).
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
· Lead and support global projects focused on GHG emissions reduction within Autoliv’s supply chain, with an emphasis on non-ferrous materials.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sustainability strategies with material sourcing, product development, and supplier roadmaps.
· Analyze material flows, carbon footprints, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for low-carbon alternatives and circularity.
· Support the development of long-term strategies for low-carbon material sourcing and supply chain resilience.
· Collaborate with suppliers on decarbonization initiatives and track project performance.
· Provide data-driven insights to support internal reporting and external sustainability commitments.
Functional Competencies: Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional global initiatives.
Understanding of life-cycle assessment (LCA), GHG accounting, or material decarbonization strategies is a plus.
Personal Characteristics Enabling Success: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Materials Science, Sustainability, or related fields.
Previous Experience: Supply chain management, sustainability, or materials engineering—preferably with exposure to non-ferrous materials.
