Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Global IPU Strategy and Global Category Business Plan creation for assigned categories and rollout in all regions, closely cooperating with Stakeholders
Global IPU Strategy execution for assigned categories cooperation closely with Global IPU Teams
Collaborate closely with SCM, Global IPU and AEU IPU Operational team and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements
Reporting the Category Business Plan execution and results of savings targets achievements to Category Manager
Follow the Global Indirect Purchasing Strategy
Reoccurring Category spend analysis and management
Reoccurring contracts review for sufficient planning of sourcing/resourcing activities, contracts prolongation
Provide Purchasing services to End-Users in all regions of Autoliv
Update Category related information like Supplier Fact profile, certificates etc.
Collect and compile Supplier and Supply Market information as input to the Category Strategy, and implement the Strategy in the Organization
Support End-User in defining target costs estimates for FC/EQ and for other projects
Category Activity Pipeline (CAP) tasks plan creation and execution for assign category
Issuing and analyzing RFQ’s, negotiations, Sourcing Board presentation, contracts, and catalogs implementation
Organize and support Supplier Audits
Insert savings initiatives and results (in accordance to Saving Control Manual for IPU) into software tools and keep them up-to-date (Sievo, etc.)
Responsible for negotiations and Contract preparation in accordance to AS 306, AS58, including NDA’s. Storage of contracts in the Contract Management Database
Manage the relationships with the suppliers on behalf of Autoliv Indirect Purchasing
Support the End-user in problem solving (system and process) including escalation process with suppliers
Monitor Supplier performance, Initiate and support Supplier Development programs
Lead the planning, and execution of annual supplier negotiations
Ensuring best price, sufficient capacity and capability at Supplier
Supplier database management – consolidation, new supplier development, non-roadmap suppliers phase out
Participate in preparing forecasts and yearly budgets for expenses on goods and services for Indirect spend in assigned categories
Ensure that the correct CC (product category) is applied
Check that the short description is in English, understandable, and representative
Check if the long description (can be in local language) is understandable and representative
Ensure that minimum 2 quotes were considered and enclosed, a contract is linked or contract number mentioned
If there is no contract and only one quote, make sure that the single sourcing is justified sufficiently
If necessary, consult the CM before approval
Ensure that a reference price is entered (consult with CM if necessary)
Approve the PR in accordance to established thresholds
If you have/are:
Experience in international companies in the area of purchase/Supply chain/Engineering
Experience in leadership in multidisciplinary teams
Experience in Project Management as a plus
Experience in work in purchasing or sale department (experience in making and maintaining business contacts)
Excellent negotiation skills
Very good command of English
Analytical thinking
Ability to establish contacts
Ability to communicate on all level of organization
Good work organization skills
Ability to work under pressure
