Segment Buyer

Autoliv's primary goal is to Save More Lives. Our products never get a second chance. This is why we can never compromise on quality. We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Segment Buyer.
If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:
- Assigned to Specific suppliers, Overall Supplier management within a segment
- Responsible for coordinating the implementation of all suppliers' strategic actions globally in all division
- Execute Year-Over-Year savings + VeVa (technical cost reduction changes)
- Lead supplier negotiation: Savings, long term agreements, improved terms
- Manage Supplier Relationship + Mindset
- Synergies/ Alignments with other Segments where suppliers may deliver
- Manage Business in coordination with Segment Strategy (i.e. growth, phase-out strategy, etc.) align segment/ supplier strategy
- Monitor/mitigate Suppliers Risks financially and capacity wise
- Execute Global Sourcing and supports Serial changes
- Maintain supplier board up to date
- Assure ASM (Autoliv Supplier Manual)
- Support/Request Supplier Development plans
- Supplier Risk Planning
- Supports Supplier Bottlenecks
- Long Term Agreements Negotiations and Yearly negotiations
- Works actively and uses synergies to improve Working Capital/Supply Chain Financing Support
- Escalation Level 1
and if you have/are:
- Self-driven and able to work on their own
- Intuitive - What can go wrong? What opportunities exist?
- Analytical & Attention to detail
- Negotiator & Communicator - Inside the company and out. Clear communication with all functional groups is essential.
- Confident
- Professional qualification / university education
- Experience in Purchasing, Logistics, or Project management
- Experience in working with cross functional team
- Fluent in written and spoken English language
- MS Office knowledge
