We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Global Solution Lead (GSL) OneStream Forecasting and xP&A.
In this role you will be responsible for the functional system design, maintenance, change management, and support of the Forecasting and extended Planning & Analytics (xP&A) on the OneStream platform. This encompasses both Group level management reporting and reporting of granular operational data that is the basis for forecasting and some actuals reporting. Operational data is captured in the areas Market, Bill of Material (BoM), Supply chain (SCM) and Operational Expenditure (OPEX).
You are the main partner for the Forecasting and xP&A business owners which includes staff from Group Management controlling, ERP operational data teams and SCM global teams.
You are part of an OS SME team of ca 4 persons, each with certain reporting focuses. Your role and responsibilities are, from a reporting and system complexity, the biggest chunk, and other SMEs support you with competence about system areas that the forecasting utilize or affect, which are most of the system build and data processing. Together with the Global Solution Lead (GSL) OneStream Conso, you are the most senior of the SMEs.
End user first and second level support is handled by an external service provider, and the bigger and more complex technical changes is lead by a technical architect with a team of OneStream developers. In total more than 10 persons support the Autoliv Onestream platform in a very collaborative way.
In this role you will:
- Clear and structured documentation of Forecasting and Operational reporting processes and related OneStream configurations
- Functional specifications and impact assessments for proposed system changes and enhancementsContinuous improvement plans aligned with business needs and system capabilities
- Feasibility studies, encompassing all efforts, change and complexity aspects of the new, as input for decision making if a medium or large change should be conducted
- Training materials and guidance to support end users and promote best practices
- Contribution to governance frameworks and process standardization across reporting activities
- Insights and recommendations through performance monitoring and post-change evaluations
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and responsibilities and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
- Collaborate with the business staff to gather, analyze and translate business requirements into system solutions
- Creating Mock ups and prototypes to sandbox around with business
- Understanding and evaluating the size and complexity of changes, and conduct feasibility studies.
- From time to time act as a project manager for medium or large changes, adhering to sound project management techniques and methodologies
- Design, configure and establish processes in OneStream to support business needs
- Ensure that the system change management process is followed to ensure solution accuracy, reliability and traceability
- Monitor system performance and provide third-level support by troubleshooting and either resolving issues or plan for the technical team to resolve them
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for system configurations and processes
- Participate in other OneStream change initiatives, supporting Onestream SMEs and tech team delivering to their business stakeholders
and if you have/are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- Master of MBA would be considered a plus
- OneStream Certified Professional is preferred
- Agile methodology for software development is a plus
- Project Management certification is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EPM systems
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with forecasting capabilities in an EPM system
- OneStream experience is strongly preferred
- Experience working with automating data management
- Experience working in a global organization with cross-functional teams
Having worked as a Controller in a global company is a plus
Fluency in English is required
