As Autoliv continues its digital transformation, the role of Enterprise Security Architect is critical to ensuring that security is embedded not just in our systems—but in our strategy. In this role, you will define the long-term direction of cybersecurity architecture across the organization, working closely with Enterprise Architecture to align security capabilities with business priorities, risk appetite, and future needs. This is a strategic leadership position for someone who sees the big picture, understands the details, and can connect the two to drive meaningful, secure change.
Mission
To define, align, and govern Autoliv’s long-term cybersecurity architecture across business units, technologies, and global initiatives. The Enterprise Security Architect sets the direction for secure transformation—partnering closely with the Enterprise Architecture function to embed security into strategic planning, target states, and solution blueprints across the entire organization.
This is a future-looking, cross-domain role that ensures our security architecture evolves with the business, supports innovation, and upholds trust at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Architecture Leadership
- Define and maintain Autoliv's enterprise security target architecture, aligning with business strategy, digital transformation, and regulatory frameworks.
- Translate enterprise risk and business objectives into architecture principles and actionable guidance for all security domains.
Cross-Domain Integration
- Work across domains (IT, OT, Product, Cloud, AI, Data, Supply Chain) to ensure security-by-design is embedded consistently in all architecture layers.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Digital Engineering, and Business Solution Architects to co-develop secure, scalable patterns.
Governance & Standards
- Lead the development of security architecture frameworks, design principles, and reference models across domains.
- Drive adoption of standardized controls, reusable patterns, and security capability models (e.g., aligned with NIST CSF, SCF, TOGAF).
Transformation Enablement
- Provide architecture direction to major digital transformation initiatives, including AI/ML orchestration, manufacturing modernization (CSiM), and cloud platform strategy.
- Review and guide solution designs for strategic programs to ensure enterprise alignment and security assurance.
Risk & Business Alignment
- Ensure security architecture supports risk-informed decision making, regulatory compliance, and performance visibility.
- Connect technical design to business impact by linking architecture outcomes with resilience, agility, and trust.
Communication & Leadership
- Act as a visible security thought leader in architectural forums and governance boards.
- Educate and influence senior stakeholders on the value of security architecture in achieving long-term business goals.
Key Competencies & Skills
- 10+ years in security architecture roles, including experience with global enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA), risk management (ISO 27005, FAIR), and security standards (NIST CSF, SCF, ISO/IEC 27001).
- Proven experience translating business strategy into actionable architecture.
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and facilitate enterprise-level decision-making.
- Broad knowledge of security domains: IAM, cloud, data protection, OT, AI, DevSecOps, supply chain security.
