Intern – Supply Chain Development (6 months internship)

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Intern – Supply Chain Development (6 months internship).
In this role you will be responsible for
- Coordination of two global purchasing segments (Metal & Leather), coached by the global segment director
- Gather on existing supply base strategies from our 4 divisions, challenge and drive for an optimized and leverage supply base
- Define together with supplier quality and divisional segment leads on subcomponents family strategy
- Quantify and map on traders, manufacturers and supplier capabilities
- Coordinate global FASTENERS benchmark and deliver, together with 4 divisional leads, a global strategy proposal targeting to optimize the supply base, deliver a savings plan associate to the supply base optimization, as well as year+1/+3/+5 plan to secure our savings pipeline.
If you have/are:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Procurement is mandatory (it is OK if you are mid of your studies!)
- Prior strategic purchasing experience is nice to have (but not a must)
- You are a natural communicator, with good presentation skills, ability to listen and you thrive when overcoming challenges and deliver on proposals
- Results’ driven attitude
- Project management skills
- You should have the ability to translate strategy & action plan proposal and visualize
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity.
