Global IT Database Administrator with the primary responsibility on implement, maintain and improve our Database Services (focus on Oracle and MS SQL technologies)
If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:
- Engineering (build / implement & maintain) on Oracle, MS SQL server and MS Azure databases for existing and new systems.
- Operate the database services currently in-place in data centers, server rooms and cloud services.
- Provide level 2 and level 3 support on Oracle, MS SQL server and MS Azure databases technologies.
- Provide database performance tuning support.
- System documentation & creation and / or review of KBs
- Define and implement enterprise-wide standards related to database services - Work with the business to define business requirements on projects.
- Maintain a close working relationship with 2nd tier support team to ensure proper incident escalation and knowledge transfer.
- Work hand-in-hand with other global IT teams.
- Support the introduction and standardization of new database technologies.
- Knowledge in other database technologies are welcome
If you have/are:
- Strong competencies in managing database technologies.
- Deep analysis ability of Oracle and MS SQL server technology.
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- University degree or comparable qualification
- Several years of work experience with Oracle and MS SQL server database technologies
- English - advanced level
- Team-work attitude, strong follow-up.

Work Arrangement:
- Flexible work hours (part of a global team working with team members in different time zones, some maintenance activities may require work during off-hours / weekends etc.)
- International business travel
- Hybrid way of working (requests for a balance between remote work and office-based work, allowing employees to split time between working from home and coming into the office)
- Our Data Center and Client services hubs are based in Romania (Brasov) Germany (Dachau/Munich) and Poland (Jelcz-Laskowice)
