For our operations in Europe we are looking for our next Health, Safety & Environmental Director that,  in collaboration with Global Health and Safety Director, Facility Management and Facility Health and Safety Coordinators, Division Health and Safety Director shall lead and promote health and safety management practices in Autoliv Europe. 

    If you have:

▪ Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and collaborate with various levels of management to identify and mitigate hazards/risks, solve potential health and safety problems and continuously improve operations.
▪ Ability to effectively lead and participate in a team environment.
▪ Ability to collaborate effectively with the organization to drive accountability for safety and zero incident mentality.

    and you gained valuable experience in:

▪ managing multiple locations, developing and managing cross-functional teams in a HSE manufacturing environment preferably with multi-site international experience.
▪ reviewing and interpreting regulations and developing facility strategies to support personnel safety and compliance.
▪ knowledge of EU HSE regulations and HSE Management Systems including experience coordinating and managing investigations
▪ working with other team members to develop Policy Deployment activities, Safety Alerts, Policy Statements, writing memos and technical reports, preparing and reviewing legal documents,
▪ and you have at least 3 years in role as an HSE in a manufacturing environment preferably with multi-site international experience.
▪  and you are proficient in Microsoft Office 

    you will have the change to perform the following at a higher standards:
▪ Establish Divisional objectives for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
▪ Develop Division policies/procedures and implement programs that foster continuous improvement and compliance with HSMS while ensuring employee health and safety.
▪ Develop, administer, coordinate and implement Division health and safety activities, inspections/auditing to improve the overall health, safety and well-being of Autoliv employees.
▪ Assist senior management in all regulatory interfacing. This includes licensing, inspection activities, resulting citations, litigation proceedings and other related procedures.
▪ Provide advice and technical expertise and assistance to facility and division management in the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, communication and control of risks arising from, the workplace that may result in injury, illness, impairment, or affect the well-being of our employees.
▪ Evaluate hazards and potential hazardous conditions and practices and determines appropriate control methods, procedures, and programs to mitigate hazards/risk. Assists management in the evaluation of the effectiveness of implemented controls.
   and also:
▪ Support development and implement Autoliv’s Divisional EHS strategy, targets and tactics, as part of Autoliv’s global sustainability strategy.
▪ Development Autoliv EHS culture, leadership and competences.
▪ Facilitate Autoliv EHS network consisting of divisional EHS Safety Leads and select participants from other functions
▪ Provide technical support for division EHS teams
▪ Collaborate with product line teams to drive long term EHS improvements
▪ Develop key EHS standards, guidelines, programs and tools.
▪ Follow up group H&S performance and ensure adequate internal and external H&S reporting
▪ Drive EH&S communication, including sharing of best practices and significant events.
▪ Develop policies/procedures and implement programs that foster continuous improvement and compliance with the Autoliv Health Safety Management System (HSMS) while ensuring employee health, safety and well-being
▪ Maintain and continuously grow the safety, environment and risk management programs needed to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all Autoliv employees, visitors and contractors, while protecting our facilities, the environment and maintaining compliance with all regulations.

▪ Works closely with Product Development, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, Process

Engineering, APS, Manufacturing to ensure product and processes do not pose an unnecessary risk and can be produced in a safe and efficient manner.
▪ Collects performance data and reports Divisional health and safety performance results.
▪ Develop, administer, coordinate and implement health and safety activities, inspections/auditing to improve
the overall health, safety and well-being of Autoliv employees
▪ Travels to other facilities when necessary to conduct formal audits, train, and develop HS&E functions. 
▪ Promotes risk management protection strategies in line with Autoliv standards.
▪ Supports enterprise risk management efforts in the division for inclusion in global ERM roll up.
