IT Infrastructure Engineer

Responsible for support mainly operations activities on company’s perimeter and internal network security systems including, but not limited to, enterprise firewalls, proxies, intrusion detection/prevention systems, remote workforce security or network security access control. Will be supporting when required operations activities on computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), wireless local area networks (WLAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications systems. Troubleshoot, maintain and ensure services provided by Network Services team performs according to the agreed OLA’s.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Maximize Network Security Services performance by monitoring the availability and performance of the systems.
Successfully operating the Network Security Services by properly maintaining the affected systems, backups, scheduling upgrades proposed by Build and Implement and executing approved changes.
Troubleshooting the issues, providing effective workarounds and good analysis that helps to find permanent fixes.
Participates in the establishment of networking environments in new or existing Autoliv locations following the standard procedures.
Leading and assisting in installing network systems at LAN level (Core, Distribution, Access Switches configurations) at global level as well as supporting WAN activities when required (like TTU’s , upgrades, etc).
Leading and assisting in deploying global solutions (like ISE, WLAN, etc.) at global level.
Support the implementation of Changes on transitioned services.
Solving incidents in several areas, supporting IT as ONE team and Technical Service Owners in the analysis of complex issues that might become complex problems.
Operations activities defined by the Technical Service Owner
Leading, coordinating and support activities that keep Autoliv compliance with security (patch management, iOS upgrades, etc).
Documenting and maintaining run books and operations handbooks for the transitioned network services, enforcing systems standards and providing feedback that helps to improve these standards
If you have/are:
Strong in the different Network Layers. Especial in Layer 1 to 3 (physical to routing) but not only to these ones.
Routing and networking protocols including - BGP/iBGP, VPLS, OTV, VRRP, IS-IS, MPLS, VRF, PPP, ATM, OSPF, HSRP, IGRP,EIGRP, NAT, QoS, NBAR, VoIP, RIP, TCP/UDP, IP, DNS, DHCP, and others
Knowledge and skilled on configuration, and supporting of Cisco routers (ISR/ASR) and switches Nexus (NS-OX/VXLAN/ACI/SDN) and Catalyst
Knowledge and skilled on configuration, and supporting of Cisco Wireless Networks (Wireless LAN Controllers, Access Points-802.11a/b/g/n/ac & 802.1x)
Background on security and remote connectivity supporting VPNs, DMVPNs, IPSEC, SSL, IPS, IDS, ASA’s, Concentrators, and others
Knowledge and experience operating core security technologies like Firewalls, proxies, cloud security, endpoint protection and detection, secure network access, visibility and enforcements.
Fundamental knowledge of information security and security principles and security standards, policies, controls, and regulations.
Experience implementing, and supporting additional technologies such as:
o Network Load Balancing devices - preferably F5
o Network Management tools including Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE
o Network Monitoring and Reporting tools (Solarwinds)
Background in automation using API’s and programing.

Detail oriented
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies or Engineering and/or relevant industry certifications or a minimum 6 years equivalent experience in Network Administration (route/switching) with a minimum of 3 years at an Engineering level
Network Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience in troubleshooting and monitoring Network security environments
Senior Level Network Engineer with experience in architect/design WAN/LAN/WLAN networks and proficient in routing/switching, WLAN technologies
CCNA /CCNP or equivalent experience. Relevant industry certifications (CompTIA; CISM; CISSP; CCSP; CCMP; CCNA Security) or equivalent experience are a plus
Proficient in English
