In this role you will be part of EMEA Operations leadership team, covering operations, manufacturing excellence and Autoliv Production System. Manage the people strategy to enable safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations while enabling transformation across productivity, capability, culture, and leadership.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Build succession pipeline for Plant Managers, Operations Directors, and critical technical roles. Work close with stakeholders to support capability gap closing.
Together with peers, drive a culture of safety, continuous improvement (Lean/TPM), accountability, and inclusion.
Own engagement action planning for Operations; track and close the loop on systemic themes (leadership behavior, recognition, communication).
Embed wellbeing initiatives relevant to shift work and high-reliability operations.
Partner with CoE in L&D and Total Rewards to design technical and leadership initiatives; drive upskilling and re-skilling as well as design of incentive structures.
Support productivity programs (OEE, labor efficiency, absenteeism reduction) with people analytics and targeted interventions.
Be the HR lead for major initiatives impacting Operations, for example footprint changes, M&A integrations/carve-outs, digital transformation and operating model shifts.
Lead change management: case for change, stakeholder mapping, communications, training, and stabilization.
Coach senior Operations leaders; strengthen leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and talent pipelines.
Elevate manager capability across employee relations (ER), performance, coaching, and inclusion.
Use people analytics to target interventions, monitor outcomes, and inform decisions (turnover, absenteeism, ER cases, time-to-fill, diversity).
Ensure compliance with GDPR, Works Council information/consultation obligations, HSE directives, and local labor laws in cooperation with HSE and local HR organizations
And If you have/are:
Relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, Industrial Engineering
Advanced degree (MBA, MSc in HR/Organizational Development) or equivalent leadership development
progressive HR experience, including HRBP leadership supporting Operations / Manufacturing / Supply Chain across multiple EMEA countries in a large-scale multinational corporation
Demonstrated experience in senior HR partnership roles
Proven experience in unionized/Works Council environments and complex ER case management.
Track record leading organizational transformations (restructures, consolidations, tech automation or M&A)
Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
Willingness to travel (30-50%)
