We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Operational Controlling Manager PLAW (Product Line Airbag and Steering Wheel).
In this role you you will be a key business partner to operations and finance teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control and performance analysis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decisions and optimize processes in a dynamic, international environment.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and analyze monthly operational performance and ad hoc reports.
Monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps, and collaborate with the operations team to address them
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support annual budget and rolling forecast processes.
Ensure alignment between strategic initiative actions, division PL business plan and conversion cost tracking database.
Prepare internal budget and rolling forecast for SW & AB product lines.
Cost Control & Optimization
Support / Lead in cost improvement workshops to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements for serial production
Support GPMD and pre-serial production costing estimates/projects
Support radical cost out initiatives work streams.
Support business cases (make or buy, footprint) which either directly lead by global operation team or by division.
Ensure accurate allocation of costs across business units.
Coordinate annual plant / production master data update for quotation tool
Support full potential calculation and support business plan preparation
Benchmarking & Compliance to Standard
Conduct benchmarking of operational KPIs and cost structures against internal and external standards to identify best practices and improvement areas
Analyze benchmarking data together with PLAW Finance director and make recommendations to support strategic plan
Maintain adherence to corporate policies and internal standards.
Business Partnering
Collaborate with finance, operations, supply chain, business excellence organizations.
Digitalization
Support digitalization in global operation controlling reporting and analysis
And If you have/are:
Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting, business administration or related field.
3–5 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting and operational finance.
Advanced BI Tool Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment supporting global work times.
