The Regional Industrial Engineering & Launch Manager leads pre-serial project activities and indirectly guides plant launch managers to ensure timely, compliant, and successful launch readiness of new customer projects across multiple plants through effective cross-functional coordination, risk mitigation, and process standardization. Oversees the end-to-end manufacturing processes for stamping, inflators, and initiators across 5 European plants (two in France, one in Romania, one in Estonia, and one in Turkey).
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
- Coordinate new product introductions (stamping, inflators, initiators) across the five plants.
- Develop detailed project plans and ensure alignment with overarching business objectives.
- Collaborate with local launch teams to meet critical milestones and deliverables.
- Drive process standardization and optimization for manufacturing lines, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Lead adoption of advanced manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement efforts, and best practices across plants.
- Work closely with Product Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.
- Foster knowledge sharing among plant engineers, building a strong network of technical expertise.
- Define and track key KPIs (OEE, production lead time, spare parts turnover) to drive data-informed decisions.
- Present status updates, risk assessments, and successes to the Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence Director.
- Provide indirect leadership to plant-level engineering teams, ensuring standard approaches and consistent skill development.
- Coach and mentor staff to build a pipeline of future leaders in industrial engineering and manufacturing.

Previous Experience
- 8–10 years of combined experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing management, or related roles within the automotive or comparable manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-plant initiatives, particularly involving stamping, inflators, or initiators, along with spare parts management.
- Proven track record of driving efficiency improvements, managing complex projects, and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Languages
- Excellent English skills (written, spoken)

- Willingness to travel as required (~30-40%)
