About Raw Material Team in Autoliv:
Autoliv the global leader in automotive safety intends to establish a cross functional raw material management team embedded into Engineering and Supply Chain Management. The team is not only the technical decision authority for all raw material related activities in line with internal & external standards and regulations but also a key driver when it comes to VEVA cost reduction, material innovation, overseen trends and approving raw material suppliers.
Raw Material VA/VE, cost reduction by creating a solid pipeline of feasible ideas with full accountability until implementation.
- Material innovation
- Oversee market trends related to raw material
- Establish demand & supply model
- Reduce time to market for material & process innovations, accelerate process innovation cycle
- Reduce complexity of material variants / grades used by defining the raw material roadmap, in line with 1P1P roadmap
- Ensure global availability of materials in line with regulations standards
- Execute and input to the segment strategy defined by global SCM teams on raw material.
- Technical decision instance of all raw material related activities (flagging, specifications and more)
About the position of Global Change Leader Raw Materials
Job Summary
- Management of serial product and process changes on raw material and SCM initiated VEVA’s following AS007 Standard.
- Run supplier technology days (workshops) with selected raw material suppliers and transfer ideas generated into savings.
- Core member of the global cross-functional raw material management team, embedded into Engineering and Supply Chain Management.
Work close with product line change management and divisional change organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all SCM and RM changes, maintain overall change plan
- Lead and initiate supplier technology days (workshop at supplier side, virtual + F2F) to identify new ideas, business opportunities
- Lead main strategy changes (global, complex, high impact, TOP 5)
- Identify opportunities to reduce lead time
- Embedded function into AS115
- Drive AS007 process and structure across product Line and / or divisions
- Ensure the continuation of 1P1P approach within change management activities globally
- Global escalation support for Divisional Change Managers
- Drive KPI’s thru Product Line with support of Divisional Change Managers
- Support continuous improvement of AS007
Coordinate and establish VEVA priorities
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Education as a change leader / project manager
BA degree preferred
- At least 5 years work experience as change or project leader in a global environment
- Strong capability to drive and execute serial changes following Autoliv’s core standards.
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work in a cross functional team
